Overview This position represents patient care directed toward critical care areas, step down areas, general care areas and critical care transports. Qualifications Education/Licensure/Certifications:  HS/GED Required. Applicants must be licensed by the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy and must be registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.  Certification of BLS is preferred for hiral processes required within the orientation period, not to exceed 90 days of hire or transfer. ACLS and or PALS certifications are preferred. Experience:  Clinical experience obtained while attending Respiratory program and will be able to function in critical settings including initiation, and support of, mechanical ventilation.
