Overview Performs radiologic procedures and assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.  Responsible for special procedures, angiographic procedures, CT scans and related quality control monitoring as assigned.  Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures.  Ensures a high quality of images produced.  Responsible for availability and sterility of equipment and supplies used for assigned areas.   The technologist will be part of the on call pool. **The CT Technologist may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include offsite diagnostic locations Qualifications Education: A high school diploma or GED; Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Science Experience: 2 years’ experience in CT preferred Licenses/Certificates:  Must be ARRT (R) registered. Overview   Responsible for obtaining Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols. Efficiently follows MQSA/ACR standards for Mammography and is able to perform daily Quality Assurance on equipment. Performs Screening and Diagnostic mammograms and diagnostic breast procedures. Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes. Able to perform Bone Densitometry studies according to department standards. **The Technologist may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include offsite diagnostic locations. Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.  Qualifications Education : A high school diploma or GED; Evidence of Radiologic Technology training from United States Military or must be a graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology with a full scope of practice preferred Experience: One year experience preferred Licenses/Certificates: Registered with the Americal Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT); Current BLS certification
