Conditions apply.** The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Neonatal Physician Assistant works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team and is responsible for providing comprehensive and age appropriate care to both well and/or ill patients. The NNP or PA educates patients' families and/or intervenes in acute or chronic illness. The NNP or PA practices within their scope as defined by their education, specialty certification and the guidelines of the unit, department and institution.
