he Hudson Valley Health Care System of Veteran s Affairs has an opening for a full time Anesthesiologist performs the full range of duties in Anesthesiology. OVERALL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include, but not limited to: Work in highly collegial atmosphere with a large veteran referral base while support by dedicated clinical and practice management staff. Would be responsible for administering anesthesia and monitoring patients during outpatient procedures, mainly endoscopy and ensuring their safety and comfort. Must be committed to quality care in a patient centered, provider-led, team-based environment. Excellent work/life balance with no call, nights, weekends, or federal holiday work. Direction of perioperative anesthetic care to patient: a. Preoperative assessments b. Intro-operative anesthetic administration and monitoring c.
