Advanced MRI Tech DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Performs a variety of technical diagnostic examinations associated with the operation of MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of any designated portion of the body. Radiology Tech Assistant DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Rad tech assistant is responsible for providing transportation of patients (ages pediatrics to geriatrics) to the Radiology department; also responsible for assisting technologists in performing transfers or ambulation to prevent falls; preparing patients and equipment for therapy and performing tasks to maintain department in orderly condition. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Properly identifies self/Properly identifies patient using two identifiers. Logs out patient. Obtains hands off communication form.
