The APP will serve as the initial diagnostic clinician or gatekeeper for patients referred for lymphatic disease. This role requires a high level of clinical acumen to differentiate between multiple causes of edema, including lymphedema, lipedema, venous insufficiency, heart failure, and other causes of edema.
