As an integral part of the healthcare team, the Meds to Beds technician will have a home base in the outpatient pharmacy and under the direction of a pharmacist will help coordinate, fill, and dispense prescription orders in preparation for discharge bedside delivery. Our Pharmacy Senior Technician I’s are key to identifying process improvements in the medication distribution process that align us with our quality improvement and safety initiatives. Competitive candidates will be able to effectively triage and communicate with patients, nurses and providers in order to minimize transition of care issues and delays in prescription access for patients transitioning from an inpatient stay to home.
