Overview
The Mastectomy and Compression Fitter performs specialty fittings and provides durable medical equipment (DME) items as medically necessary and directed by a physician order. The fitter holds a customer service-oriented position that involves working directly with patients in a professional clinical capacity. The role assesses patient status pre- or post-surgical intervention and conducts product selection, as well as fitting patients for bras, compression garments and prostheses.
