JOB SUMMARY The Radiology Tech I, working under the supervision of the Radiology Director and the Staff Radiologist, performs radiological imaging examinations of patients using both stationary and mobile radiographic equipment. The Tech I positions patient as needed to obtain optimal images and prevent patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation. Develops exposed X-ray film, ensures proper film identification on all images, and creates x-ray CD copies. Files films, maintains medical records, and performs other related administrative duties. JOB SUMMARY The Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Technologist (RT) will provide direct patient care to cardiac patients and communicate with the physician continuously to ensure patient safety during procedures. Working with the Cardiac Service Line Leaders, the Cath Lab Radiology Tech (RT) assesses, plans, implements and collaborates with other departments to ensure excellence in patient and family care, reflective of CCH mission, vision, and values. The Radiology Tech (RT) will integrate departmental goals for improvement across the care continuum. The Cath Lab Rad tech may be an RT or an RCIS.
