About this Job: General Summary of Position Responsible for patient assessment pre and intra procedural care of patients undergoing invasive procedures or sedation in the Department of Radiology. This is accomplished according to an established plan of care under the direction of the Director of Operations and Radiology Nurse Coordinator in charge of Nursing who is a licensed Registered Nurse. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy policies procedures and standards.   Schedule Monday-Friday, rotating Saturdays, Three-12hr shifts per week 8:30am to 9:00 PM, plus occasional call.    Primary Duties and Responsibilities   Working with both inpatient and outpatient Monitoring patients undergoing MRI scans, including patients with cardiac devices + those who require pain/anxiety management to tolerate Monitoring patient under going CTAs, diamox studies, urograms, etc....
