Overview The Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) in Cardiovascular Surgery plays an integral role in the comprehensive care of adult cardiothoracic surgical patients. This provider works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, intensivists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality perioperative care.
