Job Details From time to time, the Department of Psychiatry & Human Behavior has openings for faculty of all rank and welcome all letters of interest. Strong senior mentorship and interesting clinical, education and research opportunities become available in the following areas: Inpatient Psychiatry Full-time position for an inpatient-unit attending, responsible for clinical, educational, and administrative aspects of our 16-bed Adult Inpatient Psychiatry Unit, including quality improvement and meeting accreditation standards. Daily clinical coverage of the unit is shared with multiple psychiatrists. The unit is a key clinical training site that includes Jefferson medical students, residents and fellows. Attending faculty responsibility includes evaluation of new patients, ongoing care, management of comorbid substance abuse, treating comorbid medical issues with appropriate consultation, and coordination of discharge with social work.
