Overview: Provides direct clinical instruction, supervision and evaluation for 8 to 10 nursing students engaged in direct patient care on a nursing unit. Clinical experiences are typically 8 to12 hours shifts and can include days, nights and weekends. Nurses working as clinical instructors also meet criteria for employment with the respective College or University for which they are assigned students.
