The HUC/C.N.A. acts as a receptionist and patient registration clerk, performs tasks necessary to schedule patients, coordinates communication and is a messenger for the nursing staff. This position helps to facilitate and support the nursing philosophy, goals and objectives at Island Hospital and supports nurses and physicians in providing quality patient care.
