Position summary:
The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Department of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialty care within the acute care inpatient units at Children’s Wisconsin. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching.
Position Highlights:
Collaborate with MCW pediatric hospital medicine physicians and interdisciplinary health care teams in the diagnosis and treatment of children under the care of the hospital medicine service.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, procedures, laboratory studies and professional consultations. Appropriately communicate findings with the medical team as well as with patients and families.
