JOB SUMMARY The Medication Aide–Certified (MA-C) is a certified nurse assistant who has successfully completed a training program approved by the State of Wyoming for medication administration, has an acceptable score on the written and clinical examination, and has received certification as a Medication Aide. Under the supervision of the Staff Nurse, the Medication Aide – Certified (MA-C) administers medications as prescribed by the resident’s physician and documents the administration, the medication effectiveness, and any noted adverse actions or side effects of the medications in accordance with the established policies and procedures of their facility, current standards of practice and care and applicable state/federal regulations.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Administers and accurately records the administration of medication for residents as prescribed by the physician in accordance with established policies and procedures of this facility  Observes, records and...
