Overview The Pharmacy Technician Billing and Insurance Specialist is responsible for processing prescriptions for insurance prior authorizations (PA), coordinating follow-up for denials, reviewing manufacturer funding and assistance as needed, and processing 340B eligible scripts for qualifying patients.
