SHIFT: Full-Time – Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM, Saturday 7:30AM-8:00PM,  Sunday 7:30AM-8:00PM, Monday 8:00AM-4:30PM MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides professional care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, chronic, or potential health problems.  Provides patient care services under the direction of the provider and/or physician.  Works as a team with other clinic staff in providing timely and appropriate patient services.  Duties include checking vital signs, recording a patient's medical history, evaluate the patient's well being, change dressings and bandages and assists the provider and/or physician in minor procedures as directed.

PAY: According to the Union Contract, DOE, EOE.  Clinic LPN $27.54 – $47.48 Clinic MA $24.66-$37.89 MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Operates within the MA/LPN scope of practice delegated by, and under the supervision of, a healthcare practitioner and/or RN. Adheres to professional standards, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local requirements. Has the ability to multi-task. Maintains respectful, kind, courteous, and appropriate communication and interpersonal skills with all staff members, patients, and volunteers. Provides compassionate, patient-centered, care aligned with Willapa Medical Clinic’s mission, vision, and values. Works as a team with other clinic staff to provide timely, appropriate, high-quality, patient care services including but not limited to preparing patients for examination and clinical procedures, point of care lab testing, injections, and other hands-on, electronic, and telephonic patient care needs.

In the Laboratory Assistant position, you will play a key role in performing non-technical and technical duties, to include the performance and resulting of designated clinical laboratory testing. Performs routine laboratory specimen collection procedures including; venipuncture, capillary puncture, and urine collection.
