JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Must have Bachelor of Science degree and be a graduate from an approved school of medical technology. Must be registered as a medical technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologist or be registry eligible. Experience Training accomplished in an approved school of medical technology. Previous experience in a clinical laboratory desirable. Physical Normal hospital environment. Close eye work. Hearing within normal range. Exposure to biological and medical hazards. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Completion of high school or its equivalent. Knowledge of computer software such as Windows, Office and Internet use. Ability to perform support activities in patient care as required through completion of an approved Vo-Tech program or certified as a Nurse Aide through the Office of Long Term Care, graduate of the SBMC PCT program, or after completion of an RN/LPN Nursing Student Skills Checklist completed by their nursing instructor. Candidates must be currently enrolled in an approved program to utilize the RN/LPN Nursing Student Skills Checklist. PCT experience within the last year will be considered in lieu of formal training.
