Department:          Business Office Reports To:           Revenue Cycle Manager SUMMARY The Patient Financial Representative supports management in the billing and collection of account receivable for self-pay accounts.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reviews all self-pay bills for accuracy, verifies insurance coverage as necessary and completes billing process to Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial Insurance and/or patients.  Correct and move accounts to appropriate biller. Works with patients on billing and payment questions.
