Overview The Mammographer performs breast imaging procedures which may include stereotactic-guided biopsy procedures. Qualifications Certifications: Registered in Radiography (R) within 1 year - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA); Registered in Mammography (M) within 1 year (1) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Education: Associate's Degree: Related Field; Certificate of Completion: Radiologic Technology, Work Experience: Responsibilities Performs routine and complex breast imaging procedures and assigned invasive procedures by acquiring and processing patient exams in accordance with accreting bodies and/or manufacturer guidelines and as outlined in department protocols.
