Overview About the Role The primary purpose of the  Ambulatory Care Technician Certified (Certified Medical Assistant)  position is to support the patient and the provider throughout the ambulatory care patient visit from registration through discharge and follow up. As a  Certified Medical Assistant, Ambulatory Care Technician Certified  will   structure the patient flow for the physicians in the examination and treatment of patients. Overview About the Role The Lead Ambulatory Care Technician Certified position is a team member who facilitates patient care activities to ensure continuity of care and adherence to the patient treatment plan. Under the direction and oversight of the Clinic Nurse Manager and the Clinical Care Coordinator of Medicine, the Lead ACT will ensure that patient and clinic flow have optimal operations.
