JOB SUMMARY The Patient Care Tech (PCT) works in conjunction with multiple departments as assigned. The PCT performs various direct patient care activities under supervision. The PCT assists patients in a variety of activities and may also participate in other organizational activities as needed. Ensures safety in all activities and follows all relevant safety guidelines. Documents as appropriate. Follows all regulations and compliance mandates.  P rovides compassionate care before and after treatment and during long inpatient stays. PCT may also be required to transport patients. These professionals replace older forms of patient supervision like restraints and seclusion rooms.
