UK Healthcare is growing! We are expanding our Interventional Radiology services and are hiring for new technologists. The IR Technologist will provide clinical assistance during procedures and assist the physician in expediting needed care. The IR Tech will provide technical assistance in CT, US and fluoroscopy guided procedures. Quality, efficiency, and service excellence are all essential parts of this position. Techs will also assist as a scrub tech or circulator during procedures, and be responsible for supply charge, documentation and charging procedures. Maintaining patient efficiency by spending appropriate amounts of time for each task and interacting will be an essential job function. On-call Cardiac Cath and EP Technologist will demonstrate knowledge of Interventional, Structural, Pediatric, and Electrophysiology procedures. Technologist will scrub/assist the physician during diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac and Peripheral angiographic studies. The technologist is also able to record and monitor procedures and demonstrate understanding of hemodynamic measurements and readings from the valve areas. Technologist will provide adequate call coverage per departmental need.
