The VITAS Telecare RN is a member of the interdisciplinary team who is the pivotal person responsible for identifying the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of those patients and families needing assistance after normal business hours. AdventHealth Hospice Care is seeking an Associate Medical Director to oversee the medical components of the hospice plan of care for each patient admitted to their team and to provide leadership and guidance to the hospice staff physicians. As leader of their care team, this physician and other members of the interdisciplinary team will focus on collaboration and delivering the highest level of patient care. Our interdisciplinary teams consist of: RN Case Manager, CNA, Social Worker, Patient Care Manager and Chaplain. The physician will manage and have oversight of patients within Long Term Care facilities along with oversight of patients in their home throughout the noted service area of Orange, Seminole and Osceola Counties.
