Description About your Role: Skills Trainers are responsible for providing direct skills training, primarily in a community setting, to youth with identified behavioral and/or mental health concerns placed in DHS resource homes. Skills Trainers function as part of a youth’s Service Team and develop their own Service Plans with goals that work toward stabilization of the youth’s placement in the Resource home. Skills training is provided during times identified as most relevant to the consumer/family (including nights, early mornings, and occasional weekends).
