About the Role The main responsibility of the EKG Technician is to conduct electrocardiograms (EKGs) to produce graphic recordings of the heart’s electrical activity, as monitored by the Cardiovascular Coordinator. The technician is equipped with the necessary education, skills, and experience to care for patients across all age groups, from newborns to the elderly.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) to capture detailed tracings of the heart’s electrical signals. Support the Cardiovascular Coordinator by providing accurate and timely EKG results. Apply specialized knowledge and training to ensure high-quality patient care. Deliver services to a diverse patient population, ranging from newborns to elderly individuals. Maintain competency in EKG procedures and adapt techniques to meet age-specific needs
