Job Description: The Diagnostic Sonographer (Registered Ultrasound Technologist) is responsible for performing diagnostic grey and vascular procedures, as ordered by the referring physician, for the patients of all ages. Provide diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients for physician diagnosis, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills. The technologist demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to interact with patients in a way that is effective and appropriate to the age of the involved patient population.
