Coulee Medical Center is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our Imaging department team, with $7,500 in bonus eligibility! The Sonographer supports the patient care cycle by performing a variety of imaging procedures, while also ensuring patient safety when conducting these procedures in accordance with state, federal and industry guidelines. This position utilizes strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills to maintain patient flow while balancing the emergent/stat studies needed. The Sonographer is expected to stay current with industry technology, and educated on changes and improvements in their field of expertise. In the Cardiac Sonographer role, you will play a key role in the department, ensuring a full range of non-invasive cardiac diagnostic ultrasound procedures with a high level of skill, accuracy, and professionalism. This role functions as an experienced cardiac sonographer, performing echocardiographic studies independently with minimal supervision, in accordance with current standards of care, American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelines, Joint Commission standards, and Island Hospital policies and procedures.
