Location/Department:  Hospital - OB New Beginnings Job Summary: Provides leadership support to the staff of Obstetrics department and ensure ongoing evaluation of and improvement in performance through data analysis, benchmark comparison and compliance with regulatory standards.  Assures integration of patient safety principles within the organization.  The manager works closely with the Director of Acute Care, medical staff, directors and department managers, nursing supervisors, clinical staff, OB department physicians, ancillary staff, registration, Medical Records, clinical analysts, Materials Management, & Human Resources.
