***10,000.00 Sign On Bonus*** PRIMARY FUNCTION: To assist the surgical team, under the direction of aprofessional nurse, implementing skilled nursing care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients undergoing surgical procedures. In the First Assist function, to provide aid in exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative technical functions that help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. The CSFA performs these functions during the operation under the direction and the supervision of the surgeon and in accordance with hospital policy. In addition to intraoperative duties, the CSFA also performs preoperative and postoperative duties to better facilitate proper patient care.
