Description Provide health care to detained juvenile residents, by performing routine assessments; administering tests and medication; making appropriate recommendations; assisting the doctor; taking inventory of and ordering medical supplies; and ensuring compliance with all medical and related standards. Other duties include counseling and educating residents regarding physical health; maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment; communicating and reporting all issues and concerns; preparing residents for release; providing training to employees; assisting with other City related detention and enforcement health care issues; and organizing educational groups.
