Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members. Our Freestanding Emergency Department is a dynamic 12-bed unit committed to providing top-tier emergency care to approximately 12,000 patients each year. Operating 24/7, our dedicated team comprises three nurses, 1 CT/radiology tech, 1 lab tech, 1 patient registrar, and 1 physician per shift. With 12-hour shifts covering all hours (7a-7p, 7p-7a, or mid-shift noon to midnight), we are well-equipped to handle the diverse needs of our community.   Our facility’s peak hours are typically between 10 am and 10pm daily.
