Description
Our client, a leading pediatric facility in Fairfield County, is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality direct patient care and integral clinical support to children and adolescents. This role is essential for maintaining efficient clinic operations, patient safety, and effective communication across the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
The LPN is responsible for a broad range of clinical and administrative tasks, including:
Providing direct patient care, including monitoring and recording vital signs, dressing wounds, giving injections, and providing immunizations.
Educating patients and families on critical health topics such as asthma medications & equipment, Epi pen use, and prescribed treatments.
Conducting lab tests and procedures and accurately processing all cultures.
