POSITION SUMMARY:
Oversee the nutritional well-being of clients by conducting nutrition assessments, identifying patients at risk, creating diet plans, and analyzing the effectiveness of interventions. Maintains cycle menu plans and recipes. Provides oversight and adequate consultation, in maintaining standards set by the federal and state agencies for the food and nutrition department. Participates in Performance Improvement and other clinical committee meetings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES (not all inclusive):
Completes competent nutritional assessments, follow-up notes, and provides education for patients according to San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital's policy and procedures and the standards of practice set by the Commission of Dietetic Registration.
Maintains policy and procedures for patient and therapeutic clinical nutrition and reviews and approves dietary policies.
