The diagnostic radiologist provides a spectrum of image interpretation, image-guided procedures and patient care services within the specialty of Diagnostic Radiology. This physician provides ongoing psychiatric care to a vulnerable population of Veterans in an outpatient setting and provides a full array of psycho-diagnostic, psychotherapeutic and pharmacological management. They will provide services to Veterans in a BHIP/Outpatient team setting that will include multi-disciplinary approaches. Outpatient psychiatrists have occasional on call responsibility. The Outpatient Psychiatrist functions within the Mental Health Service.

The Neurologist (Physician) is responsible for managing the full spectrum of patient care in both outpatient and inpatient care settings of Neurology to evaluate, diagnose, consult, and order appropriate diagnostic studies and treatments for patients. The incumbent will provide consultative evaluations and treatments to patients referred from other sections of the hospital and/or affiliated VA outpatient clinics and perform administrative functions and other tasks as assigned by the Associate Chief of Staff of Acute Medical Service.

The Cardiologist will function as support to the inpatient/ outpatient medical staff, through consultation via phone, e-consult, video visit, CVT, or outpatient consult. The Cardiologist is responsible for timely consultative response. He/She is responsible for patient within all care settings within NIHCS to include Emergency Department, inpatient medical unit, ICU, and outpatient setting.
