Unit Description: As a Resource RN, you will care for a mixed population of patients across the UVM Medical Center. Our team is comprised of RNs and LNAs who float between different units to help cover inpatient staffing needs. As a department, we support up to 20 different units ranging from Medical-Surgical, Cardiology/Telemetry, Critical Care, to Maternal Child. Unit Description: As a nurse in our 32-bed surgical telemetry unit, you will be focused on providing high quality, patient and family centered care. Our primary population includes patients who require cardiothoracic surgery (post-CABG, valve replacement, pulmonary surgery), vascular surgery (lower limb bypass, carotid endarterectomy, amputation), and urology (prostatectomy, bladder tumor resection, continuous bladder irrigation). In our single patient rooms, we care for a diverse range of surgical and medical services requiring a progressive level of care.  On-call: Not required.
