Job Summary:  Day shift - 7am - 3pm Security officer ensures the safety of the area they are assigned to monitor.   Their duties include monitoring the premises, responding to emergency situations and keeping track of all incidents on-site. Functions and Duties: Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Secure all exits, doors and windows during shift patrols and at end of shift operations. Provide assistance to persons in need. Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities. Guarding and managing patient valuables in a secured area.
