  Job Summary: The Registered Nurse Pre-Procedure Scheduler/Collaborator is a professional practitioner who provides quality patient care and is responsible for daily coordination of surgical procedures and patient education for Surgical Services patients, in accordance with the mission, vision and values of the organization.                                                      Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Functions within the scope of practice as defined by respective certification/license Coordinate and communicate with physicians/providers and patients to schedule surgeries/procedures and pre-operative testing.   This will include all Archview patients.    Schedule surgeries/procedures in coordination with clinic and physician office scheduler and tracks the status of surgeries/procedures, to include coordination of all documents and pre surgical requirements for surgical patients.
