We are currently seeking (1) Full-Time Phlebotomist for our Nursing Homes! Days: Monday- Friday Hours: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Job Summary:   Responsible for phlebotomy, maintaining laboratory files, handling of specimens/reports, processing outpatients, answering and directing phone calls to appropriate areas/personnel, and processing all specimens that come into the laboratory.   Functions and Duties: Performs phlebotomy on all outpatients and inpatients as required, from neonate to geriatric patients, by finger stick, heel stick, or venipuncture for diagnostic testing as ordered by providers, including blood cultures Interprets physician orders and order tests in appropriate system. Follows proper identification practice and procedure for all patients’ phlebotomies.
