We are primarily coaching and educating our patients as we care for their medical needs.  We strive to help our patient’s transition back home by helping to guide, coach and direct them to become independent in their activities of daily living. Unit Description: As a nurse in the Operating Room at The University of Vermont Medical Center you are working in a level 1 trauma center seeing a wide variety of surgeries. Nurses have the opportunity to work in a collaborative atmosphere and have the opportunity to circulate and scrub. Previous Operating Room experience preferred.
