Assists the therapists/therapist assistants in transporting, lifting, transferring and treating patients. Assists in conducting general patient activity programs under the supervision of the therapists/therapist assistants. Maintains equipment, supplies and facilities. Reports to Assistant Director, Clinical Coordinator and/or Senior Rehab Technician as indicated. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance and safety.  Transports patients to/from therapy programs appropriately considering the patient's age, diagnosis and physical and mental limitations.  Assists in conducting specified treatment activities; observes patients in treatment activities and reports observations to therapists/therapist assistants.  Prepares treatment areas, patients and equipment for treatments.
