RN Med-Surg (PRN)
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides professional nursing care through the assessment, treatment, and education of patients in accordance with physician’s treatment plans. Cares for adult patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical issues or are recovering from surgery. Average 6:1 nurse to patient ratio.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Associate Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE: No experience required
LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: Registered Nurse. BLS certification within 90 days of hire required. Med-Surg: ACLS certification preferred.
EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS: Patient therapeutic equipment/machines or their reasonable accommodation.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of appropriate patient population growth and development.
SCHEDULE: PRN (varies as needed)
