Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant-Float (Full-Time) Full-Time Monday-Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm/Friday 8:00 am- 12:30 pm JOB SUMMARY: Upon completion of training and documentation of competency (as verified) by the Division Supervisor (Clinical), the Medical Assistant (MA) will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical and clerical support to patients presenting in physician office settings across all PMSG clinics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, patient screening, assisting providers, performing clinical procedures, administering injections, collecting blood samples, and completing clerical and documentation tasks. Laboratory Medical Technician (MLT) or Technologist (MT/MLS) (As Needed/PRN) Performs diagnostic procedures on various types of specimens utilizing effective quality control measures. Functions in all areas of the laboratory including: chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, urinalysis, and immunohematology. Collects specimens using defined collection guidelines.
