Responsibilities : Implements administrative goals and policies and interprets objectives of Nursing Services to the nurses on the units. Assist in ensuring appropriate staffing is met during shift. Rounds the nursing units daily to ascertain the condition and needs of the residents and informs Director of Nursing of all changes and related problems. Observes nursing care of the residents to ensure that orders are carried out as directed and treatment is administered in accordance with physician's instructions. Assists with orientating newly employed nurses and clinical placement of nursing students. Arranges hospital transfer of residents.
