Our physician-owned multi-specialty group (85+ providers across 9 specialties, 23+ locations) is recruiting a Nephrology NP or PA for Glendale & Phoenix, AZ. Scope of practice will include: Comprehensive Patient Evaluations: Conduct detailed clinical histories and targeted physical exams for new and returning outpatient nephrology patients. Chronic Disease Supervision: Formulate, implement, and adjust evidence-based management plans for patients across all stages of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD Stages 15). Hypertension Management: Diagnose and treat primary and secondary hypertension, including multi-drug regimens for resistant hypertension. Electrolyte & Metabolic Management: Interpret laboratory studies to manage metabolic acidosis, hyperkalemia, hyperphosphatemia, renal osteodystrophy, and anemia of CKD (prescribing ESAs and iron therapies as appropriate). Key Responsibilities Comprehensive Primary Care: Specialized focus on comprehensive GYN care (annuals, breast exams, Pap smears, STDs/vaginal infections, hormone therapy, pelvic health, cancer diagnosis) alongside women's endocrine care, thyroid management, and GLP-1 therapy. In-office procedures: IUD/Nexplanon care, colposcopies, biopsies (vulvar/endometrial), SHGs, and pessary changes. Manage 1620 patients per day with dedicated 1:1 MA assistance.
