Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Piedmont Columbus Children s Hospital as a full-time provider. In this role you will: • Examine, evaluate, and treat patients with serious medical conditions, illness or injuries on the general pediatrics floor as well as our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. • Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations and record data in patient s medical record. • Evaluate and treat patients to achieve optimal patient care. • Collaborate with the on-call physician for the overnight care of the pediatric patient with the physician on call for urgent needs. • Collaborate with the care team on the floor and the PICU to oversee and participate on care of the general and intensive pediatric patient. • Ability to handle cross cover calls and assist with admissions. • Communicate clearly the plan of care to the patient s family or caregivers as needed about the pediatric patient s condition or treatment plan. •...
