Position Title: RN - Registered Nurse (Levels 1-3) - Nephrology - Part Time - Days Department: Medicine/Nephrology Job Description: *Registered Nurse positions are available at levels I, II, or III, depending on experience and education. Location: University of Oklahoma Medical Center Shift Available: Full Time (36 hours/week) 7a - 7p or 7p – 7a The Medicine Nephrology Unit consists of 22 beds.  This unit is part of our new collaborative care model, where a grouping of ten patients is cared for by a team consisting of RN, LPN and a dedicated CTA.  The unit is divided into two groupings or pods, to care for a medicine surgical patient population, with a focus of renal disease, acute dialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and all other medicine related diagnosis.  There are also two dedicated comfort care/end of life suites, which are staffed with a dedicated concierge RN, providing care for the patient and family during the final stages of life.
