This unit boasts a fast-paced environment providing care to patients in various stages of their surgical journey (pre-surgery, post-surgery or considering surgery) in the gynecology, urology, colorectal and surgery oncology ( Hepatobiliary and Complex GI) specialties. Average stay for patients ranges from 48-72 hours to one week. RNs on this unit have large support from both Care Team Associates and Health Unit Coordinators.
