Position Title: RN Resident - Registered Nurse - Nephrology - Full Time - Nights Department: Medicine/Nephrology Job Description: The Medicine Nephrology Unit consists of 22 beds.  This unit is part of our new collaborative care model, where a grouping of ten patients is cared for by a team consisting of RN, LPN and a dedicated CTA.  The unit is divided into two groupings or pods, to care for a medicine surgical patient population, with a focus of renal disease, acute dialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and all other medicine related diagnosis.  There are also two dedicated comfort care/end of life suites, which are staffed with a dedicated concierge RN, providing care for the patient and family during the final stages of life.
